An independent “HOT” warning light flashes continuously whenever the plate temperature exceeds 50°C, remaining active even after the user turns the instrument power off to safeguard operators from accidental burns. Users can plug in an external PT1000 temperature sensor to bypass the plate sensor and monitor the actual sample environment with a tight control accuracy of ±0.2°C, while an integrated RS232 port permits remote PC data transmission and control.
