An independent “HOT” warning light flashes continuously whenever the plate temperature exceeds 50°C, remaining active even after the user turns the instrument power off. Operators can plug in an external PT1000 temperature sensor to bypass the hotplate temperature and monitor the real-time sample environment with a tight control accuracy of ±0.2°C, while an integrated RS232 port permits remote PC data logging and software interaction.
